Post Feminism and the question of Gender Identity
In this course we will shine a light on feminism, its successes and shortcomings, especially about the quest for gender identity and confidence. We will look at a possible spiritual context and how the shift in 2012 might have affected this theme as we have since moved into a yin phase, which doesn’t support yang energy in the same ways as before. Because of that many women and men experience difficulties in their life which seem unexplainable, have questions but no answers, and are on a journey to explore who they are intrinsically as women or men moving forward, how they are equal in many domains but essentially very different.
Classes will be held in a sacred space of stillness, an essentially yin quality, to offer an experience of relaxation in a more and more frantic world and eventually being nourished by our divine mother in a new way.
The approach will be creative and experiential, mixed with lecture, group sharing and discussion.

I am excited to teach this class at SOU/Olli in Ashland, Oregon and look forward to meet women and men exploring what it means to BE a woman/man, different from how we are conditioned by culture and society.
